The long cold days of winter are a perfect time to sit down and put puzzles together to pass the time. If you enjoy working on puzzles, Dawn Schmidt has a great deal for you!
Schmidt recently began operating The Puzzle Exchange out of her office at 544 SW 1st St. in Montevideo (directly across from Second Time Around). She currently has a stock of 167 puzzles for adults, along with over 40 puzzles for kids.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to stop by and peruse the puzzles, and the best part is, they are free to take! Then, when the puzzle is finished, it can be returned for others to enjoy.
Working on puzzles is a great way to relax, whether by yourself or with someone else. It’s also a great way for parents to spend time with their kids!
Schmidt is also happy to take puzzle donations. “A lot of times, puzzles get lost and forgotten in closets, or they are simply thrown away,” she said. “Instead of leaving puzzles in closets or throwing them away, bring them to The Puzzle Exchange!”
