There will be a public meeting on Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. at Clara City - City Hall (215 First St. NW) to discuss the Hawk Creek Watershed Project.
The meeting will begin with a welcome and introductions, followed by guest speaker Marybeth Block who will speak about landowner perspective on permanent easement process.
Following the speaker will be a recap regarding the recent and upcoming HCWP activities, including: One Watershed, One Plan; the Reduced Tillage and Crop Cover Field Day on Sept. 14; the next Hawk Creek Headlines newsletter in January/February; and the next annual meeting in February.
Also on the agenda for discussion is a water quality monitoring update and 2018 season summary, in addition to a Best Management Practice Projects update, as well as other announcements and updates, including a mason jar mug winner!
