Bonnie Eiken, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and formerly of Montevideo, died Dec. 31, 2018, at Grandstrand Hospital in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Celebration of life and a time of fellowship was held Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at The Refuge Church in Montevideo.
Bonnie Lee (Ball) Eiken was born July 10, 1948, in Rochester. Her parents were Jack and Lillian Ball. She graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1966. She graduated from the University of Mankato and worked in the Montevideo School System in special education during the 70s and 80s. They moved to the gulf coast of Mississippi in the early 90s and then back to Minnesota. They moved to Myrtle Beach, five years ago. She enjoyed playing golf, spending time with her family, and especially her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Jeffrey of Gainseville, Fla., and Jaime and her husband Travis Held, of Jupiter, Fla.; two grandchildren, Addison and Colton; and her brother, Craig McDonald, of Poway, Calif.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home, of Montevideo, was in charge of the arrangements.
