Eleanor Schrapp, 84, of Montevideo, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald S. McKee will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. There will also be visitation for one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
Eleanor Wilhelmine (Lehmann) Schrapp was born July 28, 1935, at Boyd, to John and Anna (Krause) Lehmann. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church near Boyd. Eleanor graduated from Boyd High School in 1952, and later graduated from Mankato State Teachers College. She taught school in Madison and Marshall, before she was united in marriage to Wes Schrapp, June 30, 1962, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. They made their home in Montevideo and she taught at Ramsey Elementary School until retiring in 1996. She was very active at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and a member of the Dorcas Circle. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and volunteering. They went camping, motorcycle riding, and did lots of traveling. Most of all, she was a proud mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Wes; son, Nick (and Sarah) Schrapp, of Grand Rapids; and two grandsons: Tucker and Cooper.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother, Ernest (and Shirley) Lehmann.
