Rose Mary Nokleby grew up on a farm in Swift County, went to country school, then high school in Benson. She married Vernal Nokleby and they farmed in Mandt Township. They semi-retired in 1976, and began many years of travel in Europe and the U.S., including camping and living in their trailer at the lake. Rose Mary loved dancing, and fishing. She did word puzzles, worked in the field and raised huge gardens. She wrote poetry for fun, plus countless programs for showers, anniversaries, 4-H programs, and thank you odes to the people with whom she and Vernal travelled.

In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to the Red Wing Mayo Hospice, and the Regina Senior Living.
