Monticello - Lynda Teichert, age 69, of Monticello and formerly of Montevideo, Minnesota died Friday, March 5, 2021, in Apache Junction, Arizona. A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Montevideo, Minnesota. Burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Garden following lunch at the church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service, 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church.
Lynda Kay (Schuldt) Teichert was born on October 30, 1951, to Robert and Deloris (Olson) Schuldt. Lynda was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. She grew up and attended school in Montevideo graduating with the class of 1970.
On January 20, 1973, Lynda was united in marriage to Kermit Teichert at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Montevideo. To this union three children were born. They moved to Buffalo, Minnesota in 1986 were Lynda worked at Gage Marketing and at Coremark until she retired in 2014.
Lynda enjoyed traveling with her husband from Minnesota to Apache Junction, Arizona, where they spend the winter. She loved doing word search books and going on long walks with her husband.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Kermit Teichert of Otsego, Minnesota; children, Robert (Tess Sumption) Teichert of Montrose, Rodney (Christy Greeno) Teichert of Monticello, Tamara Teichert Corcoran; four grandchildren, Madison Teichert, Hannah Teichert, Zach Mass, Dylan Teichert; siblings, Russ (Linda) Schuldt of Clarkfield, Diana Mamer of Dawson, Pam Thralls of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers-in-law, Roger (Sharon) Teichert of Apache Junction, Arizona, Richard (Nancy) Teichert of Montevideo; sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Scott) Weckworth of Montevideo, Jackie Teichert of Beckenridge, Jodie Schuldt of Montevideo; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandi Holt and twin brothers, Don Schuldt and Ron Schuldt.
