Randy Doring Randy Steven Doring was born on June 13, 1950, in Montevideo, the son of Leland and Mary (Thompson) Doring. He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1968 and was confirmed and baptized at Montevideo Methodist Church in Montevideo. After high school he attended Southwest State University in Marshall for three years, and Minnesota School of Business, receiving a certificate in Computer Programming and Accounting. Randy was united in marriage to Lois Larson on September 11, 1976 at Big Bend Lutheran Church in Big Bend. After their marriage they moved to Champlin. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and being with family and his friends. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Mary Doring; sister, Beverly; mother- and father-in-law, Virgil and Mavis Larson; brother-in-law, Tim Haugen. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lois Doring of Champlin; and his two sons – Matthew Doring and his wife Keena, and his two children Trey and Addison, and his two step-children, Selina and Jacob, of Big Lake and Joshua Doring and his son Kayden of Champlin; two brothers, Roger Doring and wife Irene, and Larry Doring and his wife Cheri; sister, Kimberly Kelzenberg and her husband Oliver; as well as many nieces and nephews. Randy Doring passed away on December 26, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids at the age of 70. Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. dignitymemorial.com.
