The Gold Dusters finished first in high kick out of six schools in Class A and AA. Montevideo was the lone Class A school. The Gold Dusters were ranked first by four of the five judges.

The Gold Dusters jazz team placed third out of six teams, just four points out of second place. Albert Lea was the jazz champion.

“The girls really seem to enjoy this competition.  The environment is very relaxed which makes for a fun day,” said Gold Dusters coach Amanda Macziewski.

The Gold Dusters’ next competition will be the BOLD Competition on Dec. 17 at Bird Island.
