Last Friday, the Thunder Hawks swim and dive team traveled to the University of Minnesota, Morris to compete in the West Central Conference meet.

Last Friday, the Thunder Hawks swim and dive team traveled to the University of Minnesota, Morris to compete in the West Central Conference meet. Sauk Centre squeeked out a victory over second place Melrose area by a score of 607-592. In third place was Minnewaska/Morris, followed by Holdingford, then Montevideo.

Putting in fine individual performances for the Thunder Hawks were Greta Rongstad who placed fourth in the 200 free, Cortney Pauling who finished in third place in both the 50 free and 100 free,  and McKayla Streich who placed fourth in diving.

The relay team of Greta Rongstad, Ashton Pauling, Zola Olson, and Cortney Pauling finished third in the 200 free relay and the 400 free relay.

The Thunder Hawks will next be in action on Thursday, Nov. 9, when they compete at the Section swim meet in Willmar.
