Milwaukee Road Heritage Center is preparing to host its 11th annual craft, vendor and collectibles sale as a part of the annual Montevideo Fiesta Days activities. This year’s sale will be held on Saturday, June 17th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to the arts and crafts, there will be a model railroad exhibit on display, and the railroad museum and rail cars will be open for self-guided tours throughout the day as well. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a trackless train ride.

The 30th Annual Relay for Life Event will be held in Smith Park in Montevideo on Friday, June 9 from 5-11 pm. The Opening Ceremony and Survivor Walk will take place at 6:15 p.m. Caregiver Walk will be at approximately 8:10 (before luminary lighting). Her exhibit, Chiaroscuro (kee·aa·ruh·skyur·ow), will be shown at the K. K. Berge Riverside Gallery, May 1-27. Her artist reception is Thursday, May 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. She requests that attendees dress in their finest for this reception though fancy dress is not required.
