I can’t remember any other winter where we have had so many warm days followed by mixed precipitation (freezing rain) and then snow and cold, cold, cold. I am sick of ice on the roads when I drive and on the city streets when I walk the dog.

In my last article, I shared how important hearing is to our ability to remember. As we share with many families, if a person does not hear a conversation, it is very difficult to remember it.

MG Bailey, whose first name is Matthew, will be visiting Montevideo to play his live, one-manband music at Talking Waters Brewing Company downtown on Friday, February 24th. Bailey, who hails from Homewood, Illinois, says he was first introduced to playing music as a kid when he was playing saxophone in the school band.

Nearly 60 people attended the Montevideo Community Center’s Valentines Day celebration held February 14th over the noon hour. The festivities included a meal served by Prairie Five, games such as Wheel of Fortune and trivia, and line dancing.
