Place making symposium to be held

Southwest Minnesota Arts Council and the Granite Falls Community Artist in Residence Program (GF CAIR) will be hosting a Place Making Symposium at Prairie’s Edge Casino outside of Granite Falls on Friday, April 12th.

The review, conducted by independent certified public accountants, found that the company’s quality control in effect for the year ended May 31, 2023, has been suitably designed and complied with, providing assurance of conformity with applicable professional standards, according to the news release announcing the successful completion of the review.The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) established the Peer Review Program to enhance the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by AICPA members in public practice.

Police pursuit ends in arrest

On March 5th at around 9:45 p.m., Montevideo Police Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle which contained an individual who had an active Felony warrant.
