Good morning!! It’s going to be a beautiful day. Humidity is nearly unbearable, but the breeze makes up for it, I guess. Rain later, maybe. Hope so. Can always use a little rain. Are they going to be opening beet lifting soon? That always brings on the rain. Most of my birds have deserted me. I still have a few male goldfinches and a few female grosbeaks and of course the noisy blue jays, but that’s about all. I never saw any orioles after they started raising their broods and hunted for more nutritious foods than jelly. Usually they would come back and introduce their young to my jelly dish, but not this year. It’s tough when even your birds “diss” you. Got a pair of hearing aids. Results are mixed. They are way too complicated for me. Programs? How many beeps? Uff da. It’s tough getting old and infirm. Golden years? Bah, humbug.
