THEIR LOVE STORY

A serial is a publishing format that breaks down a larger work of narration into sequential installments for publication in magazines or newspapers. It is now possible to submit tips to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota from anywhere in the USA from a cell phone and for those in Minnesota to submit tips to other parts of the country. This can now be done by calling **TIPS (**8477). Through technology and a partnership with Crime Stoppers USA anyone can anonymously report information about a crime using this new nationwide crime-fighting tool. Prior to this, calling a distant Crime Stoppers Toll-Free number often had geographic boundaries for access determined between the Toll-Free provider and the local Crime Stoppers program. **TIPS now gives tipsters calling from one Toll Free defined area the ability to reach a Crime Stoppers program in a different calling area while remaining anonymous.

Motorcycle and classic car roll-ins planned for summer

The Montevideo American Legion is currently planning a series of motorcycle and classic car roll-ins for this summer, with the idea of providing those riders and drivers with an opportunity to partake in a fun event without having to travel far. The group came up with the idea, as there is a similar event held over an hour away in Wabasso regularly. American Legion member Everett Bain and his wife Cheryl have traveled to Wabasso for a similar event, but noted how dangerous the route can be to drive, especially after dark on a motorcycle.
