Montevideo Creatives host successful Monte Meet-Up Event
The Montevideo Creatives hosted a successful Monte Meet-Up Event on Friday evening to kick-off the Meander Art Crawl’s opening night. The event, held at Java River Coffee Shop, featured live music by Clark Machtemes and guests, as well as the Wellbriety Warriors Drum Circle, a locally-sourced free community meal, farmers market and chalk art. The event was sponsored by the Montevideo CVB, Java River, Simple Living, ARO, the Montevideo Farmer’s Market, Land Stewardship Project and the Montevideo Creatives.

Ask a Trooper: Yielding to emergency vehicles…
Question: I seem to encounter a fair amount of emergency vehicles running in emergency mode (lights and sirens.) I also can’t help but notice how many people don’t pull over and yield to them. Can you bring some attention to this?
