New Highway 67/old County Road 2 project complete

Work to install guardrail, rumble strips and ground-in wet reflective striping on new Highway 67 / old County Road 2 in Yellow Medicine County has been completed, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.Rumble strips and striping were installed from Wood Lake to where Highway 67 turns south toward Echo.

Sam’s Pumpkin Patch opens for the season with new theme, games

Located just outside of Montevideo, Sam’s Pumpkin patch, owned and operated by Sam Ripley, has opened for the season with something new to brag about this year.Ripley opened the pumpkin patch for the first time in 2021 when he was a Sophomore in High School on his parents property just a couple of miles off Highway 212.
