Blood drive collects 86 units
The American Red Cross blood drive was held on June 26 and 27, 2025 at the TACC in Montevideo. The blood drive was sponsored by the VFW Auxiliary of Montevideo. The total collected for both days was 86 units so just one short of the goal.

Emergency meeting held on state of Carnegie Library
Last Thursday, the Montevideo City Council held an emergency meeting on the state of Carnegie Library. The reason for the emergency meeting was concerns of public safety due to the state of the facade of the building. Bricks have been falling off of the North side.

Maynard hosts 4th of July celebration
