We had an amazing weekend in the area! On Sunday we had temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s throughout the region.
Anglers are reminded that the Lac qui Parle Lake crappie limit is now five fish per angler. The regulation went into effect March 1st. The new limit applies to all of Lac qui Parle Lake, the Watson-Sag diversion channel to the downstream side of the dam on County Highway 9, and the Minnesota River upstream to the downstream side of the Marsh Lake Dam and Control Structure.
The Storm Prediction Center put on their assessment last week about the potential for a severe storm outbreak ranging from the Central Plains to here in the Upper Midwest. This storm did materialize and brought severe weather here in Minnesota.
