What wonderful weather we have had the past week.
It’s hard to be organized when being organized takes time.
I don’t mean to brag or anything but I’ve been around the block.
Another week has flown by.
What in God’s name has happened to American newspapering?
As fall approaches more quickly than one would perhaps like, the calendar fills up at an alarming rate with sporting events, activities, school happenings, meetings regarding fall and winter events that happen in the local area, and of course, election related happenings.This year for the first time in perhaps a great many years, the newspaper is working on hosting a candidates forum in Granite Falls for local mayor and council candidates.
In the fury to grab our attention and keep it trained on them, folks have turned to superlatives.
Moving is always a huge chore, but I was very fortunate to have a big crew of volunteer help, and so over Labor Day weekend, I was able to be moved in under five hours.
September is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month.
Just a stone’s throw from here, right around the corner, is an intersection of note.
