Rain. And then, RAIN. And more in the forecast for the coming weeks. Uff. There have been whitecaps on the “puddles” in my soybean field. I’m thinking the drought in western Minnesota has been erased. I know.

Conversations with your adult children are so different than conversations with your young children. Although when my middle child calls, we are both typically involved in house-cleaning while talking, which is how typically some of the longest conversations used to take place when we lived in the same house, they’re now more involved with cleaning tips and trading stress baking war stories, rather than me getting to hear all the middle/high school drama.

With Graduation at LQPV on Sunday and Memorial Day programs on Monday and various other commitments throughout the week, I was checking what day it actually was on my phone several times.
Welcome to the first week of the new format for the newspaper. As you have likely noticed by the time you’ve reached this page, the newspapers are now printed on a different paper, in a different way, in a different size.
Many readers turn to Beyond Reason for helpful, everyday advice. How do I politely decline an invitation to play pickleball? (Move.) How do I get my beach bod ready? (Fast.) What do I wear to a Kentucky Derby party? (Hat.)
