My heart is full as I look around southwest Minnesota and think of all the good we have been able to do together. I wanted to share a few of my favorite memories with you in parting.

Thank you, Mother Nature for relenting and allowing some warmer air to move into out area. I was tired of listening to the drip of my faucets. It is supposed to prevent freezing of pipes. Don’t know if that really works, but I was willing to try. I had 3 faucets dripping for several days. It’s a good thing that I don’t pay for water. I have turned all of them off for the week.
News from United Way of Southwest Minnesota

Live Well, Age Wisely:
Director of Aging Well, Prairie 5 Community Action Council With 2023 just around the corner, this is a good time to share some of the options and opportunities available through Prairie Five’s Aging Well program which serves Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift, and Yellow Medicine counties. We are grateful for grants that we receive from the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging and the Southwest Initiative Fund which will continue to fund these services in part in the new year.

The Year in Review: 2022 Just what was 2022? Like many years that came before it, 2022 was also a year. But 2022 was different in that it was new.
