DNR offers advice for dealing with storm damaged trees

Cleanup following a storm can be an overwhelming task for homeowners. If trees have been damaged, knowing which to save and which to remove can enhance people’s safety and the survival of remaining trees, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Track and Field Teams have finals qualifiers

Thursday afternoon, the Montevideo Track and Field teams hosted the Track Subsections. The girls team finished with over 90 team points, and the boys team took second place with 145 team points.

Thunder Hawks play WCA

Last week, the Thunder Hawks took on West Central Area in a close-fought game, taking the loss with a final score of 4-5. Leaders in that game included Gannon Reidinger, who finished 1-for-3 with two RBIs, pitching the first three innings and striking out three.
