During Monday evening’s home game, the Thunder Hawks baseball team held Senior Night, with an introduction to seniors and their parents, as well as an opportunity for youth to get autographs from the ball players. Photos by Jessica Stolen-Jacobson
Montevideo High School Senior Landon Stock recently signed his Letter of Intent to participate in basketball at Ridgewater College in Willmar. MHS Varsity Basketball Coach Derek Webb says, “We are extremely proud and excited for Landon to continue his basketball career at Ridgewater! It is an awesome opportunity for him to step on campus and compete for a role on the team right away.
Thursday evening, the Thunder Hawks softball team took on West Central Conference Area in a double-header at home. The event also featured the team’s Awareness Night.
The Thunder Hawk Golf teams traveled to the Pomme De Terre Golf Club in Morris for the Morris/CA Invitational. The boys team finished in 7th place with a score of 199.
The Thunder Hawk boys basketball team took on Minnewaska last Tuesday for a 0-7 loss. Scoring from that match follows: Singles Tyson Quigley vs Tate Reichmann (MW) 0-6, 0-6; Andrew Soden vs Gannon Walsh (MW) 0-6, 0-6; Talan Brock vs Ethan Quelle (MW) 0-6, 0-6; Kyle Canatsey vs Connor Quelle 3-6, 1-6.
Michael Brockman took the lead to start the Pure Stock feature. Alex Grinager took the lead on lap four.
Thursday, May 12th: 4:00 p.m. Softball Girls Varsity Game vs Minnewaska Area at Montevideo High School Softball Field 1 and 2.
On Tuesday evening, the Thunder Hawk boys played a double-header against Benson at home for a victory in both games. Game one ended with a score of 10-0.
