
Thunderhawks Baseball loses to Morris in double header
The Thunder Hawks baseball team traveled to Morris last Tuesday for a double-header game, taking a loss in both. The first game ended with a score of 2-4.

The Montevideo Girls Golf team traveled to the Sauk Centre Invitational last week, finishing with an incomplete score. The top scorers for the girls team in the event were: Reagan Diggins in 25th place with a score of 67 and Isabelle Teichert in 31st Place with a score of 75.
Last Wednesday, the Montevideo boys tennis team played against Lac qui Parle/Dawson-Boyd for a 2-5 loss. Those scoring wins were in singles - Talan Brock. In doubles, Connor Hagen and Sam Ostendorf brought home victories.

On Thursday, the Montevideo Softball team took on Melrose in a West Central Conference double-header at home. The team took a loss in game one 5-11, and again in game two 3-8.

Last Thursday the boys and girls track & field teams traveled to Sauk Centre for an Invitational, with the boys team scoring the second place title with a score of 129.5. Scoring from that event follows: Girls Team: 6th Place Montevideo 56.
Montevideo JV baseball team traveled to Morris to take on the Tigers. The game started with Dan Gunlogson getting on with a single, from there Gunlogson stole second. Jace Goslee walked in the next at bat and both were moved over to third and second on a fielders choice but the Thunder Hawks couldn’t get a hit to get them across the plate. Montevideo held the Tigers in the bottom of the inning to keep it a scoreless game after one. In the second, the Thunder Hawks again got a runner to third and couldn’t push the runner across. The hawks got the tigers out one, two, and three in the bottom of the 2nd and the game stayed scoreless.
Last Thursday, the Thunder Hawks boys and girls track teams traveled to a multi-school track meet at Yellow Medicine East in Granite Falls. The girls team claimed the 7th place spot with an overall score of 42, while the boys team claimed the second-place spot with an overall score of 95.5.
