Boys basketball alumni tournament held Easter weekend
On Saturday morning, Montevideo High School boys basketball alumni gathered at the school’s gymnasium for a tournament that boy’s basketball coach Derek Webb hopes to make an annual event. This was the second time the event was held, as it was originally held in 2019, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, was postponed in subsequent years until now.

Montevideo girls basketball banquet held
The Thunder Hawks Girls Basketball Team had its post-season celebration and banquet on 4/4 at the High School Cafeteria. DNR seeking conservation officer applicants for 2023 academy
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is holding a recruiting period, which runs through April 8, for the agency’s CO Prep program, which provides a pathway for people without previous law enforcement experience to become conservation officers. The program is a key part of the DNR Enforcement Division’s effort to create a workforce that more closely resembles the diverse communities it serves.
