On Saturday morning, Montevideo High School boys basketball alumni gathered at the school’s gymnasium for a tournament that boy’s basketball coach Derek Webb hopes to make an annual event. This was the second time the event was held, as it was originally held in 2019, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, was postponed in subsequent years until now.

The Thunder Hawks Girls Basketball Team had its post-season celebration and banquet on 4/4 at the High School Cafeteria. Last Tuesday evening, the Thunder Hawks boys basketball banquet was held. Award winners were: All Conference, Academic Award, MVP - Kaden Boike; Hawk Pride Award - Hunter Strand; All Conference Honorable Mention, Most Improved, Best Defensive Player - Andrew Van Binsbergen; Mr. Hustle - Dennis DeJong (Not pictured: All Conference - Landon Stock).
