Darlene Fultz

 Darlene Fultz of Montevideo died on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Luther Haven Nursing Home at the age of 90.
 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.
 Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home.
 A luncheon with a Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Table 212 in Montevideo.
 Darlene Fultz was born on June 27, 1932, in Granite Falls to Roy and Josie (Johnson) Eggebraaten. She attended school in Granite Falls. She was united in marriage to Gerald Fultz on November 23, 1947, in Montevideo. The family was blessed with nine children and made their home in Montevideo and then in Minneapolis. Upon Gerald’s retirement in 1986 the family returned to Montevideo. Darlene would work in various jobs such as the produce department at Bill’s Supermarket and running Cribs and Bibs consignment shop.
 Darlene enjoyed crafts, upholstery, doll collecting, walking, casino trips and bike riding. She was known for always having extra food for family and friends. Family recalls that some of the favorite foods were scalloped potatoes and glorified rice. Above all Darlene was all about family and would put her family first. When asked about clubs Darlene belonged to the first thing that came to mind was “I am taking care of my grandkids” club.
 Darlene is survived by her children: Larry Fultz, Rodney Fultz, Pam Dobbelmann, Lorna Fultz-Lind, Kelly Fultz, Vickie Franczak, Sue (Kim) Jensen; 26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and other extended family.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald; sons: David Fultz, Todd Fultz; grandsons: Robert Jellison and Adam Fultz; and sister LaVonne Uttermark.
