Jason Junior Klemensen

Jason Junior Klemensen, beloved fiance, father, brother, uncle, friend, and shining light to many passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He is survived by his fiancé, Brandi Peters, her children, Dahlia Beckett, Isabella Peters, and Lylla Peters, his sister Laurie Lyngen, brother Jon Klemensen (Shelly), sister Lisa Klemensen, sister Hope Reyna (fiancé, Ken), nieces Kristi Justin (James), Vanessa Trevino (Miguel), Amanda Klemensen, Fayth Reyna, Charyti Reyna, and nephews Brian Lyngen, Damien Klemensen, BrianTrevino (Courtney), Mason Lyngen, Brandon Klemensen (Shilada), Benjamin Trevino (Sandi), Joshua (Skylar), Prince Mohammed, and several great-nieces and -nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Linda Klemensen.
Jason was heart strong and committed, an avid outdoorsman and appreciated all types of nature. He shared a passion and love of photographing nature with his sister Laurie, fishing with family and friends and hunting whenever he could (even if accidentally hitting them via motor vehicle, jokingly referred to as Bumper Hunting by Jason). He was no stranger to the grill and enjoyed cooking for others.
He loved without reserve.. He was kind, caring, charismatic, funny, intelligent, and an accepting man who understood the importance of family togetherness. He could have a conversation with anyone he encountered, which is how he and Brandi’s paths joined. He overcame much adversity in his life, especially this past year, but never let his obstacles change his genuine, happy, and gentle spirit. Jason enjoyed life to the fullest despite his physical limitations. He never lost his sense of humor through his stroke recovery journey.
The family would like to thank his caretakers at SKLD Beltline, specifically Jasmine DeWeese, as well as Therapy Staff. Their care and advocacy was a catalyst to Jason’s tremendous progress.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled to take place at Smith Park on September 17, 2022, in Montevideo beginning at 10 a.m. until the last person leaves. Details will be available through family at a later time.
