Naomi J. Herrlich, 78, of Brainerd passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home in Brainerd on May 21, 2022. A Memorial Service for Naomi will be held on Thursday May 26, 2022, at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd. There will be a visitation for friends and family beginning at 11:30 a.m. The service will begin at 12:30 p.m.

She is survived by her children Randy (Cindy) of Baxter, Nancy (Matthew) Peterson of Nisswa, grandchildren Caleb, Zachary, Izaac, Cassidi, Lexi, and Jack, and her sister Mary Lou Viken.

Naomi is preceded in death by her husband Loren, and her daughter Debra.

Naomi was born on November 22, 1943, in Montevideo to Marion and Lucille (Anderson) Charlet. She graduated from Montevideo High School and married Loren in December of 1965. Naomi was a member of the Ladies Aid at Zion Lutheran Church and was a homemaker raising her three children. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and loved a good game of bowling. Naomi loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved her family, and her excellent baking skills were shown around the holidays, which she loved.
