During the event, short films were aired, including the film “Foreclosure”, a short film produced near Milan featuring a 1930s penny auction to save a family farm and a 1980s auction with the same intent. The film, made in 1982, featured local actors including Franz Albert Richter who played a 1930s farmer. At the end of the airing, a a tribute played in honor of Richter who passed away earlier this year. Photo Submitted
