CCM Health Welcomes Cassie Sonstegard, MA, LPCC to Behavioral Health

CCM Health is pleased to welcome Cassie Sonstegard MA, LPCC to their Behavioral Health team! Cassie attended Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and received her Master of Arts degree in counseling and psychological services from Saint Mary’s University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cassie is licensed by the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Cassie specializes in Behavioral Health services and will be starting at CCM Health in this November.

Jerry Ostensoe’s tribute show draws full house crowd

Jerry Ostensoe was a strong pillar in the local arts community. He passed away from ALS on August 29th, 2022. On Friday, October 21st there was a live music event held as a tribute show to him with a packed house at Bluenose Gopher Public house, full of song and laughter.

Thunderhawks Volleyball team defeats Benson

Last Tuesday, the Montevideo Girls Varsity Volleyball team took on Morris/Chokio-Alberta for a 1-3 loss in Morris. On Thursday, the team hosted Benson, defeating the team 3-1.

Letter to the Editor

The Bible is a book about God who longs for a relationship with all of humankind. It is full of metaphors that help us understand the expansive reality of God. Metaphors are used in the bible to expand meaning, to be more than the literal interpretation. In order to comprehend the Spirit of God, humans use human characteristics to explain God because it is our only way to express spiritual awareness.
