Let’s not settle

Have you ever wondered what could have been? Most of us can look back on our lives and wonder how our decisions at some point impacted our future. It’s the question of “What if?”, and is often accompanied by regret for something we didn’t do. For instance, sandwiched between the incredible stories of two iconic Bible characters, Noah and Abraham, is Terah. Most of what we know of him is found in Genesis chapter 11. Terah lived in Ur of the Chaldeans, and was the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Prairie Notebook

Sadly, this is the last entry for the Prairie Notebook journal for the American-News in Monte. As a freelance writer, I’ve got to focus writing within markets that will at least provide a little pocket change for the effort on my end as well as the news, information and stories people hopefully enjoy reading on their end.

Live Well, Age Wisely:

Director of Aging Well, Prairie 5 Community Action Council With 2023 just around the corner, this is a good time to share some of the options and opportunities available through Prairie Five’s Aging Well program which serves Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift, and Yellow Medicine counties. We are grateful for grants that we receive from the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging and the Southwest Initiative Fund which will continue to fund these services in part in the new year.
