Thunder Hawk boys take on Sauk Centre
Last week, the Thunder Hawks boys varsity basketball team took on the Mainstreeters in Sauk Centre for a 48-58 loss. Leaders in the game included Gannon Reidinger who scored 18 points, nine rebound, two blocks, while Carson Boike added another 11 points to the team total.

Montevideo’s boys basketball team tacked together four consecutive strong performances, including in three road games against elite competition, to wrap up regular-season play with a boatload of confidence.

Elda Jessie Wittman, 75, of Boy River passed away peacefully February 18, 2023, at her home with her family at her side. Elda was born in 1947 to William and Dorothy (Delaney) Leach, she grew up and graduated from high school in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. She met Lynn when their mutual friends asked them to join them on a date! On June 24, 1967, Elda and Lynn were married.
