“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want…” (Psalm 23)
If I held out a mirror, you’d probably utilize it as a reflection for images/ things in front of the mirror. If I look into the mirror, I will see myself. If I hold it up in front of you, you don’t see my reflection; you see your own.

Think things through. If you quit exercising because you feel good, you’re likely to take a fall and get injured and feel worse.

Striding into the future . . .
In the coming weeks, high school seniors across the country will don caps and gowns and proudly walk across a stage to receive a diploma in the culmination of a 13-year goal that has taken the support of many people along the way in order to achieve it. Seniors, your family, in particular, has been with you every step of the way and I hope you thank them.

From the Editor’s Desk
As the weather finally gives us a break, it seems everyone is playing catch-up. Many events are now taking place, many evenings are spent out covering sports events for the schools. It would seem I spend more time in my car than my house.

News from W.R.A.P.
The month of May includes National Police Week and National EMS Week. WRAP (WoMen’s Rural Advocacy Programs, Inc.) would like to recognize and thank all Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Service Responders! The jobs of those in law enforcement and EMS are never easy and can be extremely dangerous.

Montevideo Arts & Event News
Our Chippewa County MN Arts, Artists, & Events Facebook page has 41 followers but little activity. Can we get the numbers up and our artists participating? I want to send out a survey to learn more about our county artists.

News from Milan
Well, Mother Nature tricked me once again. I put my long underwear pants and shirts in the washing machine and she cooled the temps down and added a nasty cold north wind. And, of course, I was too stubborn to put clean underwear on for just 1 or 2 days. So, instead, I will just complain that I’m cold when I take Patton for the walk. So that’s what I’m doing. Haven’t looked at the forecast to see if it’s worth putting warms on again.
