Chippewa County Historical Society works to bring new buildings to village
The Chippewa County Historical Society is working on a project to bring a recently discovered late 1800s log cabin to the Chippewa Village site.

CCM Health begins expansion project
At a recent meeting of the Montevideo City Council, CCM Health CEO Brian Lovdahl was in attendance to give the council a report on building construction costs for CCM Health.Lovdahl noted that currently CCM Health is undergoing an audit, but offered to give the council an update on the preliminary fiance numbers for the 2023 fiscal year.
Block Party planned to share information on services and organizations
On Thursday, April 18th, the Rural Recovery and Prevention group is hosting a Block Party at the CCM Wellness Center with the intention of sharing information on services and organizations that provide support for drug recovery and prevention in the Montevideo area.

Question: I am puzzled as to why seat belts are mandatory in vehicles along with a fine for not complying but our precious cargo in school buses are not required to wear them?Answer: School buses are one of the safest modes of transportation even without seatbelts.
