As spring arrives in Minnesota, it’s time for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) to kick off its popular program that relies on Minnesotans to monitor our 12,000+ lakes and 92,000+ miles of streams: the Volunteer Water Monitoring Program.

City applies for grant for housing rehabilitation
At Monday evening’s regular meeting of the Montevideo City Council, one of the topics of discussion was the Small Cities Grant application for the rehabilitation program.Denise Robertson of the RDC in Appleton was in attendance to answer questions, as there was some discrepancy with the resolution passing guidelines discussed at the last City Council’s meeting.
