Montevideo boys defeat NLS, Pelican Rapids
Last week, the Montevideo Boys Varsity Basketball team took on New London-Spicer in a non-conference game for a 78-51 win. Leaders in the game included Gannon Reidinger who scored 19 points with six rebounds while Griffin Epema added another 15 points with four rebounds to the team total. Complete scoring follows:
Montevideo girls defeat LQPV
Last week, the Montevideo Girls Varsity Basketball team took on Lac qui Parle Valley for a 55-40 victory. Leaders in the game included Teagan Epema who scored 34 points, six rebounds while Hallie Helgeson added another 11 points to the team total. Complete scoring follows:
Upcoming Events
Friday, February 21st: Minnesota Valley Community Concert Association presents Boyd Meets Girl, classical guitar and cello playing an eclectic mix of classical and pop music at 7:00 PM at United Methodist Church. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are available at the door.
Team UNITED takes on Hutchinson for a win
Last week, team United wrestling took on Hutchinson for a victory in Dawson 28-27. Complete scoring follows:
Montevideo swim takes third in conference championship
Last week, the Montevideo Boys Varsity Swim and Dive Team hosted the West Central Conference Championship, taking third place with a score of 505.
