Fifth suspect in downtown stabbing makes court appearance
Last Tuesday morning, the Montevideo Police Department posted a press release stating that a fifth, and what they believe to be, final suspect was arrested in relation to a fight that occurred in downtown Montevideo on September 1st that resulted in three men receiving stab wounds.On September 11th, the fifth suspect, Eulin Saul Merlo Solis, age 32 of Montevideo appeared in court on charges of aiding and abetting first-degree assault and third-degree felony assault.
