Today I am going to get organized and the first item of business is to establish a Home Plate in which I will put things such as billfold, keys, glasses, phone, pens, meds, nail clipper, checkbook, postage stamps, cufflinks, shoelaces, eyedrops, matches, grip tape, flashlight, magnifying glass, things that in the time I’ve spent looking for them in the past few years I could’ve translated The Iliad and made peace with China and unionized college athletes, both men and women.On the other hand, do we really need a new Iliad?

Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council awarded$600,000 grant

Governor Tim Walz last week announced the recipients of nearly $20 million in grants to grow Minnesota’s workforce through the Drive for 5 Workforce initiative, a new effort to prepare more Minnesotans for high-demand jobs in five occupational categories: technology, the trades, caring professions, manufacturing and education.“We’re partnering with organizations across the state to expand job training programs and grow the workforce for the future,” said Governor Walz.
