The Minnesota Historical Society has created a free book produced with funding from the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment passed by Minnesota votes in 2008.

Minnesota moms: join the Mother’s Day weekend fishing challenge

Moms who live in Minnesota are invited to join a free virtual fishing challenge during Take a Mom Fishing Weekend (May 11-12), when Minnesota moms can fish without purchasing a fishing license.To participate in the challenge, moms simply need to join the Facebook group and submit one photo of each fish they catch.

Senior LinkAge Line hosts presentation to spread awareness of services offered

Last Wednesday, representatives from Minnesota’s Senior LinkAge Line along with Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging hosted an online presentation in order to provide information on how Senior LinkAge Line can help older adults and their families with a variety of aging issues.Claudia Thompson, a Resource Coordinator with the Minnesota Senior LinkAge Line through the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging spoke about how the agency not only provides assistance for older adults, but their caregivers as well, whether that is a spouse, or children, sometimes even just with support.
