Even though Christmas decorations appeared in the store the day after Halloween, hopefully you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving in some fashion – or at least were able to pause and be grateful.

Prairie Five discusses location option at council meeting

At Monday evening’s meeting of the Montevideo City Council, Ted Nelson, the Associate Director of Prairie Five Community Action Council was in attendance to provide information on the efforts made by the organization recently to look into potential new locations.Currently, Prairie Five is located inside of the Chippewa County Family Services building, and operates the food shelf from the location, as well as the Meals on Wheels program, preparing meals in the kitchen for delivery to the five counties they service.
