Request for support for transitional housing at City Council meeting
At Monday evening’s meeting of the Montevideo City Council, Pastor Don McKee requested a financial contribution from the city to support Heritage Haven, a transitional housing project currently under construction on 4th Street.

Montevideo baseball defeats Minnewaska, Windom
Last week, the Montevideo Boys Varsity Baseball team took on Minnewaska for a 10-1 victory. Leaders in the game included Gannon Reidinger who pitched nine strike-outs with no walks, while Brody Dack was 3-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. Complete scoring follows:

Another glorious week in Paradise aka Western Minnesota. My biggest problem this week was not knowing what day of the week it was. With Graduation at LQPV on Sunday and Memorial Day programs on Monday and various other commitments throughout the week, I was checking what day it actually was on my phone several times.

Montevideo tennis has state qualifiers
Last week, Montevideo’s Varsity Tennis team participated in the tennis sections tournament. Gabe Lindeman placed 2nd and will head to the State Tournament. The doubles team, Chris Negen and Brady Backer, placed 4th in Sections.
