Rain chance for the weekend
Despite the dry conditions, sunshine, and pleasant temperatures over the weekend, we dealt with smoke from Canadian wildfires once again. We had an Air Quality Alert in effect over the weekend through Monday evening for most of the state.

Montevideo track and field competes
Last week, the Montevideo Varsity Track & Field team traveled to the Section 3A Championship in Redwood Falls. The girls team tied for the 10th place spot with a score of 24 while the boys team took the 13th place spot with a score of 27.
County Road 14 detoured south of Watson starting June 2 for culvert repair project
A detour of Chippewa County Road 14 south of Watson will begin June 2, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Traffic will be routed to 100th Avenue Southwest and Highway 7 for approximately two days (see attached map).
