From the Editor’s Desk
For the last year, I’ve been working on a creative project with photography, building intricate sets in studio and pulling in volunteer models to be costumed and photographed. The end result of this will be an exhibit in a gallery showcasing the work. It’s fairly similar to the final project I worked on at the end of my university coursework for photography, but in this instance I have full creative freedom, whereas that project was specifically designed to hit all topics learned in lighting, posing and technique, thus every photo had to be entirely different.


Thunder Hawk boys team defeats BOLD
The Thunder Hawks Boys Varsity Basketball team hosted BOLD Thursday evening for a 65-63 victory. Leaders in the game included Devin Ashling, who scored 23 points with six rebounds while Gannon Reidinger added another 13 points with one block to the team total.

The Personal, Joyful, Sure Care of God
Big corporations generally aren’t known for their personalized care of their customers. If you have a problem with Amazon and try to call customer service, even if you get to talk to an actual person, it’s not going to be Jeff Bezos himself or any other executive. The service a major corporation provides its customers doesn’t work that way.
Letter to the Editor
The last couple of weeks there have been articles in the Montevideo American News and the West Central Tribune about the Community Services Building in Montevideo, commonly known as the Family Services building. Having spent 34 years as an employee in that building, the stories are of interest to me.
