School Board hears report on New Life Space Crisis Intervention program

At the regular monthly meeting of the Montevideo School Board Monday evening, a presentation was given about a new initiative titled New Life Space Crisis Intervention. Superintendent Wade McKittrick say that the school district’s elementary staff has recently been exploring the intervention program that focuses on trauma as it relates to student performance.

We’re well into the spring sports season, and still dealing with cancellations, reschedules, and shortened games because of all the cold, rainy, windy weather. I don’t recall a spring sports season that’s been quite so interrupted in many years.

Robert Lye

Robert Lye, 97, of Benson passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo. Visitation was 10-11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2022, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson. Pastor Zane Anderson officiated. Burial was in West Bank Cemetery.
