Crime Stoppers of Minnesota announces Nationwide tip method

It is now possible to submit tips to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota from anywhere in the USA from a cell phone and for those in Minnesota to submit tips to other parts of the country. This can now be done by calling **TIPS (**8477). Through technology and a partnership with Crime Stoppers USA anyone can anonymously report information about a crime using this new nationwide crime-fighting tool. Prior to this, calling a distant Crime Stoppers Toll-Free number often had geographic boundaries for access determined between the Toll-Free provider and the local Crime Stoppers program. **TIPS now gives tipsters calling from one Toll Free defined area the ability to reach a Crime Stoppers program in a different calling area while remaining anonymous.

Serials were popular in the late 1800s, early 1900s, and even appeared in the Montevideo American News in the 1920s. This is the first week of a five week series of serials written by author and Montevideo native Arthur Norby.

News from Milan

Another drizzly, dreary Sunday. It would be a great day to stay in bed with a good book and classical music on the radio. Unfortunately I have obligations. Shucks. I’m hoping the sun comes out later.
